Default 3RD Gen Dodge Front Axle Shaft U-Joints

I just wanted to give anyone that didnt know already but dont go to O'reilly's or NAPA for the front axle shaft u-joints. They are wrong, wont work and ull waste down time waiting on the right parts. We ended up using Spicer u joints (5006813). They arent cheap but they are the best that you can get.

Just a heads up.

Good timing. Just about to replace them in the '06 (left is clicking like crazy). You end up picking them up at Certified?

Mine were going out in the '07 with 65xxx miles. Dealer got it that way when it got traded in too. Need to get pics of my new work truck up here. '10 Laramie Crew cab short box. It is NICE! I cant believe the ride quality in it!

ran into the same issue on the rear ujoint...the diameter near the seal is to big. that was a precision brand. advance auto or spicer is the best option.
