I'm excited as hell.. but anxious.. excited but anxious -- can't wait to get it running. I know its not a huge thing I'm doing with taking off the front end and replacing it.. but for me, its a big job Just want this sucker running again.. but this 103* heat is sucking! I need a shop baaad -- and spending the week working, tracking down parts, and trying to fix an overheating issue with the wife's car didn't help my plans of having this truck done either...

I won' tbe there saturday but I will be coming to Enid to tag and title the truck if I ever get it running (fingers crossed it happens this week while I'm off!) -- I work this weekend on days, so no way I can make it to the dyno.

fiiiinally some more progress -- I have pics and will upload as soon as possible.. but before I came back to bartlesville for this set, I got the core support back in the truck and bolted in, all the coolers in place save for a few bolts and fasteners

Now to clean up the piping, reinstall hoses, and move onto getting the header panels, lights, and grill back on! Hopefully that will happen Mon/Tues!

It sure is! Hoping to pick up the fasteners tomorrow (need bolts for radiator to core support, trans cooler to support, and some core support bolts) to make sure its all done right. Then going to put on the header panels and mount the lights and grill -- Bumper is going to require a lil more work.. but once I get the truck running, Ill tackle that

OH - also -- it appears lots of the light pllugs were broken and have been spliced in with simple connectors.. I am curious what would be a good way to fix/seal/repair correctly without buying a whole new harness... ??

I could start it -- but I don't have the innercooler tubes and intake on it right now and I have to refill it with fluids -- I'll probably connect them and refill everything this weekend when I get off this set of nights

Wasn't the vast majority of that front end stuff supposed to be done before you got the truck to OK? Just curious, cause I thought it was supposed to be closer than how you got it.

yes - it was -- the lights were on it and all, BUUUT, during transit, he damaged the front core support and park lamps and header panel. The lights work, but I want to fix them right. Same for the innercooler and radiator -- none of it was bolted down, even thought it was "working".

I'm fixing it right.. and hopefully it'll last some time
